When I buy a pressure switch, should I have to set it?

No, the pressure switch has a factory setting. Please see it on the catalogue.

Can I change the factory setting of the pressure switch?

Yes, of course! You can find how to do it in the instruction sheet or here in this website.

How can I run the electrical connection to the terminal block?

You have to connect the electrical cable where you see the writing "line", while the cable for the motor of the pump has to be connected where you see "motor".

Should I always install a pressure thank?

Yes, we strongly recommend to install a pressure thank (12L at least), otherwise the pump will always shut off.

Where the pressure switch has to be installed?

The pressure switch can be installed where you prefer, but always in the outlet pipe of the pump.

Where can I install the device?

The device has to be installed in the outlet pipe of the pump. It can be installed both in horizontal and vertical position.

Should I always install a pressure thank?

We suggest to install a pressure thank (2L at least) in order to avoid the continuous start and stop of the pump.
Also with the Brio-Tank the adding of a small pressure thank can improve the operation of the system.

What is the big screw with the symbols "+" e "-"?

You need this screw to set the starting pressure of the pump.
N.B. The screw is not a pressure reducer, it does not set the pressure of the system!

When I buy a flow & pressure control device should I have to set it?

No, the device has a factory setting and the starting pressure is 1,5 Bar.

Does the pump stop when there is no water?

Yes, because inside there is a check valve which detects the presence of water.

How can I run the electrical connection?

The devices may already be provided with the cables. If not, you have to connect the electrical cable where you see the writing "--", while the cable for the motor of the pump has to be connected where you see "pump".

If there is no water, does the device restart automatically?

If the device is provided with the automatic reset, yes. The version with auto-reset (optional) begin to restart automatically at pre set intervals of 60 minutes for 4 times.

Where can I install the Brio-top?

The device has to be installed in the outlet pipe of the pump. It can be installed both in horizontal and vertical position.
The "Brio Top Fire" version is suitable for fire-fighting systems.

Should I always install a pressure thank?

If the Brio-Top is in "P+F" mode, we suggest to install a pressure thank (2L at least).
If the Brio-Top is in "P+P" mode, it works as a pressure switch, so we suggest to install a pressure thank (12L at least).

Can I install the Brio top in a submersible pump (3Hp) with an high flow?

Yes, you can. You have to set the device in "by pass".

Can I use 2 Brio Top together with 2 pumps?

Yes, of course! Also a brio top with a Sirio. Please see it in the manual.

Can I connect a float switch to the clamp for auxiliary contact?

Yes, you can connect a clamp or any other external command, as you can see in the manual.

Can I use 4 Sirio together with 4 pumps?

Yes, of course! But you must use Sirio X4 for connection all device.

Can I use 2 Sirio together with 2 pumps?

Yes, of course! Also a Sirio with a Brio-Top. Please see it in the manual.

Can I set the device with any kind of pump?

Yes of course, the device is defined ‘universal’. You can set it with any kind of pump except the ones containing electronic boards.

Where can I set the SIRIO or SIRIO ENTRY?

The device has to be installed in the outlet pipe of the pump. It can be installed both in horizontal and vertical position.The device exploits the passage of water inside of it to cool the electronic components.

What is the recommended distance between SIRIO and pump?

Distance is not determined but for over 80 meters the manufacturer recommends to install the filter dV/dT.

Is the 40-second delay of pump shutdown when water shortage is correct?

Yes, the factory setting of the pump off delay is 40 seconds.

Do I need to reset the SIRIA parameters in the event of a power failure?

You don´t need, everything returns to the state set by the user.
